Hispanic Outreach and Leadership
at
Armstrong Atlantic State University

Mission Statement

The Hispanic Outreach & Leadership at Armstrong program (HOLA) was created to help Latino students succeed; to fulfill their dreams of obtaining a college degree. We do this by providing enrollment services, academic support, leadership development, and cultural activities that enrich the experience while attending Armstrong Atlantic.

Student Learning Outcomes

As a result of participating in the HOLA Program at Armstrong Atlantic, students will:

  • Develop an awareness and appreciation of the diverse Hispanic-Latino heritages in our community and campus.
  • Develop their leadership skills through workshops, training sessions, educational outings and networking opportunities.
  • Participate in community service activities that serve the Latino community in education, health and cultural immersion.
  • Increase their level of social and civic responsibility to empower under represented groups.
